MARK, THE LOCOMOTIVE
ENGINEER |
|
The
Monticello Railway Museum in
Monticello, IL hosts a
unique program, "Throttle
Time". In return for a
$100 donation, you can spend
30 minutes at the controls
of a real operating railroad
locomotive, guided by the
museum staff. My
assistants John and Bryan
presented me with this
opportunity as a gift last
Christmas. |
