JANUARY 2005 NASHVILLE TRIP |
|
The bank
is always closed on the
Martin Luther King holiday,
so we used the three-day
weekend for a quick trip to
Nashville. We took in
the Grand Ole Opry at the
Ryman (and forgot to take
the camera!) We
enjoyed Sunday morning at
the world-famous
Cowboy
Church and visited with old
friend Randy Ferrell. |
We enjoyed the Cowboy Church at the Texas Troubador Theater After service, we were met by Randy Ferrell Mark, Dr. Harry Yates, Joanne Cash Yates, and Pam Can't get away from the computer, even on the road! On the way home, we stopped to see Gina at college
We should have sat closer. This is Joanne Cash Yates singing. Randy moved to Nashville from Springfield several years ago. He works for Gibson, and ministers in the local drag-racing circuit. Dr. Yates is Pastor of the Nashville Cowboy Church; his wife Joanne is Johnny & Tommy Cash's youngest sister.
